AFGHAN TRANSIT
It is important to note that all Afghan transit business activities carried out by Waterlink Pakistan were successfully finalized and concluded as of 2014. Since then, there has been no presence or operational activity in Afghanistan. Waterlink Pakistan was among the first companies to engage in Afghan Transit Trade, previously operating as an International Freight Forwarding and Logistics Company with offices in Kabul and Kandahar, along with exclusive inland agencies in Mazar-e-Sharif, Jalalabad, and Kunduz.
During its active years, Waterlink provided a comprehensive range of services, including air and sea freight from the nearest ports, inland distribution, customs clearance, logistics contracts, and consultancy, all aimed at ensuring client satisfaction. These services extended beyond traditional logistics to include customized solutions for transporting cargo. The company efficiently handled cargo for militaries, NGOs, commercial traders, and oil and construction companies operating in Afghanistan. However, there has been no engagement or activity in Afghan transit trade post-2014.
